Eskişehir doğumlu olan Uzm. Dr. Mehmet Saygı, tıp eğitimini Ankara Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi’nde tamamlamıştır. Kardiyoloji uzmanlık eğitimini ise Türkiye’nin en köklü ve en yüksek işlem hacmine sahip kalp merkezlerinden biri olan Dr. Siyami Ersek Kalp Damar ve Göğüs Cerrahisi Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi’nde almıştır. Uzmanlık süreci boyunca ileri düzey girişimsel kardiyoloji pratiği içerisinde aktif rol almış, yüksek riskli ve kompleks vakaların yönetiminde deneyim kazanmıştır.

Uzm. Dr. Mehmet Saygı, kalp ve damar hastalıklarını yalnızca akut müdahale gerektiren durumlar olarak değil, uzun vadeli kardiyovasküler risk yönetimi perspektifiyle ele almaktadır. Gerektiğinde hızlı ve etkin girişimsel müdahale planlarken, gereksiz invaziv işlemlerden kaçınan rasyonel ve kanıta dayalı bir yaklaşım benimsemektedir.
