Education and experience
Prof. Dr. Süleyman İpekçi, Endokrinoloji ve Metabolizma Hastalıkları alanında akademik üretkenliği ve bilimsel katkılarıyla öne çıkan bir hekimdir. 2014 yılı Ulusal Diyabet Kongresi’nde Diabetes Mellitus alanında “En İyi Bilimsel Yayın” ödülünde birincilik ve üçüncülük derecelerine layık görülmüş; aynı yıl Selçuk Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Dahili Tıp Bilimleri Bölümü’nde Yardımcı Doçentler arası Yayın Birincilik Ödülü’nü kazanmıştır.
Akademik kariyeri boyunca uluslararası hakemli dergilerde yayımlanmış 42, ulusal dergilerde yayımlanmış 16 bilimsel makalesi bulunmaktadır. Çalışmalarına uluslararası düzeyde 230 atıf yapılmıştır. 80 bilimsel bildirisi basılmış olup, 16 panel ve konferansta konuşmacı olarak yer almıştır. Yurt içinde 45, yurt dışında 15 kongre katılımı bulunmaktadır.
Bilimsel üretime katkısı yalnızca yayınlarla sınırlı kalmamış; 65 bilimsel makalede hakemlik yapmış, ikisi TÜBİTAK projesi olmak üzere toplam 8 ulusal ve uluslararası projede yürütücü veya araştırmacı olarak görev almıştır. Ayrıca 29 uzmanlık tezi ve bitirme sınavında jüri üyeliği üstlenmiştir. Çok sayıda ulusal ve uluslararası bilimsel eğitim ve sertifikasyon programına katılmıştır.
Prof. Dr. Süleyman İpekçi, halen Hisar Hospital Intercontinental Endokrinoloji ve Metabolizma Hastalıkları Bölümü’nde hasta kabul etmektedir.
