Dr. Özgür AÇIKGÖZ 1973 yılında Niğde de doğmuştur. Tıp eğitimini 1996 yılında İstanbul Üniversitesi Cerrahpaşa Tıp Fakültesi’nde derece ile tamamlamıştır. İç Hastalıkları uzmanlık eğitimini 2002 senesin’nde Taksim İlk Yardım Eğt. Ve Arş. Hastanesinde tamamladı. Tıbbi Onkoloji yan dal uzmanlık eğitimini ise 2014 yılında Kocaeli Üniversitesi’nde bitirmiştir.

Kariyeri boyunca hem pratisyenlik döneminde hem de uzmanlık dönmeinde yurdumuzun değişik illerinde zorunlu hizmetlerini tamamlamıştır. 2018 tarihinde Medipol Üniversitesi Tıbbi Onkoloji Kliniği bünyesinde uzman olarak çalışmaya başlamıştır. 2024 yılında onkoloji doçenti olmuş olup halen Mediol Mega Üniversite Hastanesinde çalışmaktadır.

Özellikle meme ve akciğer kanseri üzerine çok sayıda uluslararası Faz 3 çalışmada Yardımcı Araştırmacı olarak görev almıştır. Akademik bilgi birikimini 30 un üzerinde ulusal ve uluslararası hakemli dergilerdeki makale ile akademik ve klinik çalışmalarına devam etmektedir.
