Uzm. Dr. Kamil Mert 1993 yılında Edirne’de doğmuştur. Tıp eğitimini 2017 yılında Gazi Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi’nde, Enfeksiyon Hastalıkları ve Klinik Mikrobiyoloji ihtisasını 2024 yılında Sağlık Bilimleri Üniversitesi İzmir Tepecik Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi’nde tamamlayarak Enfeksiyon Hastalıkları ve Klinik Mikrobiyoloji uzmanı unvanını almıştır. Uzmanlık tezini ‘Kronik Hepatit B Hastalarında Uzun Süreli Potent Antiviral Kullanımının Siroz ve Hepatosellüler Karsinom Gelişimine Etkisi’ üzerine yapmıştır.

Devlet hizmet yükümlülüğü kapsamında Muş Malazgirt Devlet Hastanesi’nde Enfeksiyon Hastalıkları ve Klinik Mikrobiyoloji uzmanı olarak görev yapmıştır. Akabinde 2025 yılında İstanbul Medipol Mega Üniversite Hastanesi’nde uzman doktor olarak göreve başlamıştır.

Uzm. Dr. Kamil Mert üst düzey bilimsel dergi, toplantı ve kitaplarda yayımlanmış, sunulmuş ve yazılmış birçok bildiri, makale ve kitap bölümüne sahiptir. Uzm. Dr. Kamil Mert, Enfeksiyon Hastalıkları ve Klinik Mikrobiyoloji alanında akademik bilgi birikimi ve klinik deneyimini güncel ve bilimsel temelli tedavi yaklaşımlarıyla birleştirerek hastalarına uluslararası nitelikte sağlık hizmeti sunmayı amaçlamaktadır.
